Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint Chamond's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. JA Vichy keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Saint Chamond dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. JA Vichy will face SPO Rouen (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Saint Chamond will play against Nantes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
