Regular Season Round 9: Sudety - Rawia 89-77

Very expected game in Jelenia Gora where 11th ranked Rawia (1-7) was defeated by sixth ranked Sudety (5-3) 89-77 on Saturday. Sudety looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) stepped up and scored 22 points and 5 assists for the winners and Rafal Niesobski (189-82) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Sudety players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Bartosz Zajac (195-91) with 15 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Szymon Maciolek (190-91) scored 19 points. Rawia's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sudety moved-up to fifth place in Group D, which they share with Slask 2 Wroclaw. Rawia lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Sudety will face Zielona Gora 2 (#12) in Nowa Sol in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rawia will play at home against Nysa and hope to win that game.
