Very important is a road loss of third ranked Gunma (8-8) against sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (3-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Gunma was crushed by Bambitious Nara in Nara 85-65. At the losing side American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Masaya Komaki (186-93) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bambitious Nara maintains sixth position with 3-12 record. Loser Gunma keeps the third place with eight games lost. They share the position with Tokyo Z. Bambitious Nara will again meet at home higher ranked Gunma (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Gunma will have a break next round.
