Regular Season Round 9: Slask 2 Wroclaw - Pleszew 87-64

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Slask 2 Wroclaw (5-3) outleveled at home 8th ranked Pleszew (3-5) 87-64 on Saturday. Slask 2 Wroclaw had a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kacper Gordon (183-2) stepped up and scored 19 points and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five Slask 2 Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Slask 2 Wroclaw's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Alan Urbaniak (185-85) with 19 points and forward Dominik Grudzinski (200-98) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Slask 2 Wroclaw moved-up to fifth place in Group D, which they share with Sudety. Pleszew lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. Slask 2 Wroclaw will face higher ranked AZS PO (#4) in Opole in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pleszew will play at home against the league's second-placed Klodzko (#2) and hope to win that game.
