Regular Season Round 16: Aomori Watts - Kagawa FA 68-74

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Kagawa FA (4-11) defeated on the road one of their biggest challengers Aomori Watts (6-10) 74-68 on Saturday. Kagawa FA looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida, agency: Inception Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The other American import guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) chipped in 29 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Kagawa FA's coach Kohei Etoh used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Cullen Russo (206-94, college: Fresno St.) produced 20 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and point guard Keisuke Aita (182-95) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Four Aomori Watts players scored in double figures. Kagawa FA maintains fifth position with 4-11 record which they share with defeated Aomori Watts. Loser Aomori Watts dropped to the fifth place with ten games lost. Kagawa FA will have a break next round.
