Regular Season Round 9: Coin - Cazorla 74-79

There was a minor upset when 4th placed Coin (4-3) lost at home to sixth ranked Cazorla (4-3) 79-74 on Saturday. It was a good game for American forward Dante Thompson (201, college: Goldey-Beacom) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Sadeeq Bello (175, college: NW Ohio) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Chema Del-Rio (203-91) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Pablo Ibanez (198-93) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Coin. Four Coin players scored in double figures. Cazorla moved-up to third place in Group D-A, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Coin. Cazorla will face league's leader Marbella at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Coin will play against Martos and hope to win that game.
