Regular Season Round 9: Real Madrid II - Casvi 88-56
Date: November 17, 2018
Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Casvi (3-6) was outscored on the road by fourth ranked Real Madrid II (8-1) 88-56 on Saturday. Real Madrid II dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Casvi's 32. It was a good game for Senegalese center Amar Sylla (206-1) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Croatian forward Boris Tisma (203-2) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Matthew Dahlen (201-95, college: St.Martin's) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Danish point guard Sebastian Dalsgaard (192-97) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Casvi. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Real Madrid II. They keep a position of Group B leader, which they share with Alcobendas. Loser Casvi dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. Real Madrid II will face Daimiel (#16) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Casvi will play against CB Guadalajara (#4) and hope to win that game.
