Regular Season Round 10: Sokol Lancut - Enea Astoria 73-95

The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Sokol Lancut (9-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by seventh ranked Enea Astoria (6-4) 95-73. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Sokol Lancut. Enea Astoria dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Lancut's 34. They outrebounded Sokol Lancut 42-25 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Sokol Lancut helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of center Jakub Dluski (200-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Mikolaj Grod (194-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Five Enea Astoria players scored in double figures. Point guard Dawid Zagula (185-96) replied with 16 points and 4 assists and point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Sokol Lancut. Enea Astoria moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gornik Walbrzych and GKS Tychy. Sokol Lancut at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Enea Astoria is looking forward to face Polfarmex (#9) in Kutno in the next round. Sokol Lancut will play on the road against WKK Wroclaw (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
