Regular Season Round 10: Boulazac - Bourg 68-98

Very expected game when 14th ranked Boulazac (4-6) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Bourg (8-2) 98-68 on Saturday. Bourg dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Boulazac's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Belgian power forward Thomas Van-Ounsem (206-99) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mbaye Ndiaye (203-99) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Bourg players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Dylan Affo-Mama (196-99) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and forward Mylfusse Damba (200-98) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bourg have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Gravelines and Dijon. Boulazac lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Bourg will face Le Portel (#16) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Boulazac will play against ASVEL (#10) in Villeurbanne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
