Very predictable result when sixth ranked GKS Tychy (6-4) won against at home 14th ranked Biofarm PZN (2-8) 94-83. GKS Tychy players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Michal Jankowski (191-87) fired 26 points and 5 assists for the winners. Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Swingman Tomasz Smorawinski (196-87) produced 16 points and 9 assists and forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Biofarm PZN's coach Pawel Blechacz tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. GKS Tychy moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gornik Walbrzych and Enea Astoria. Biofarm PZN lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with eight games lost. GKS Tychy's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Kotwica (#16) in Kolobrzeg which should be an easy win for them.
