Very important is a road loss of third ranked WKK Wroclaw (7-3) against fourth ranked Polonia Leszno (7-3) on Saturday night. Visiting WKK Wroclaw was defeated by Polonia Leszno in a tough game in Leszno 64-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of WKK Wroclaw. They outrebounded WKK Wroclaw 45-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-96) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (195-85) chipped in 9 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Jakub Koelner (183-93) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. Polonia Leszno moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated WKK Wroclaw. Polonia Leszno will play against AZS AGH KR (#12) in Krakow in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WKK Wroclaw will play at home against the league's leader Sokol Lancut (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
