Regular Season Round 10: Pruszkow - Pogon Prudnik 75-88

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Pogon Prudnik and 9th ranked Pruszkow had identical 4-5 record. But Pruszkow was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Prudnik 88-75. Pogon Prudnik shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) fired 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) for the winners. Guard Grzegorz Mordzak (182-77) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Karol Kaminski (193-97) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pogon Prudnik (5-5) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Polfarmex Kutno. Pruszkow at the other side dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Pogon Prudnik's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Slask in Wroclaw and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Pruszkow will play on the road against STK Czarni (#10) in Slupsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
