Regular Season Round 9: Arka II - Ogniwo Szczecin 104-62

Very expected game in Gdynia where 8th ranked Ogniwo Szczecin (3-6) was crushed by fourth ranked Arka II (6-3) 104-62 on Saturday. Arka II forced 19 Ogniwo Szczecin turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Arka II looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Ogniwo Szczecin's players. The victory was the third consecutive win for Arka II. They maintain fourth place in Group A with 6-3 record. Newly promoted Ogniwo Szczecin dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Arka II will face higher ranked Notec Inowr. (#3) in Inowroclaw in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ogniwo Szczecin will play at home against Trefl II Sopot (#13) and hope to win that game.
