Regular Season Round 10: Asker Aliens - Nidaros Jets 97-91

Asker Aliens' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after eight consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Nidaros Jets (1-11) 97-91. Nidaros Jets were ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 38-26 charge of Asker Aliens, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard Jerrod Hendricks (175, college: Z*Orangeville A's) fired 41 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ludvig Bergh (177-98) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. Asker Aliens' coach Tommy Gundersen used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Tylor Wimbish (201-93, college: Mo.-St.Louis) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Jakob Baiden (194-93) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Nidaros Jets players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens (1-8) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Nidaros Jets' fifth loss in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Asker Aliens' next round opponent will be higher ranked Fyllingen BBK (#3) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Nidaros Jets will play against Ammerud Bskt (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
