Very expected game when bottom-ranked Rosmini D. (0-8) was smashed on the road by tenth ranked Piombino (5-3) 98-76 on Sunday. Piombino dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rosmini D.'s 32. They outrebounded Rosmini D. 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Center Edoardo Persico (208-87, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Camillo Bianchi (194-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Piombino's coach Marco Andreazza felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games.
