Very predictable result when sixth ranked Castelldefels (5-4) won against at home 13th ranked Palma II (2-7) 71-58 on Sunday. It was a good game for forward Eric Manes (194-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Felix Lopez (190-85) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Castelldefels players scored in double figures. Uruguayan-Italian forward Matias Guerra (201-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Alberto Garcia (192-87) added 6 points and 6 assists in the effort for Palma II. Palma II's coach Pau Tomas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Castelldefels. They moved-up to fourth place in Group C-B, which they share with Sant Josep and Arenys. Loser Palma II keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Castelldefels will face Arenys (#6) in Arenys del Mar in the next round. Palma II will play at home against Vive El Masnou (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
