Regular Season Round 10: Haneda Vickies - JX-Eneos S. 71-88

Undefeated leader JX-Eneos S. delivered the tenth consecutive victory. This time they beat 7th ranked Haneda Vickies (4-6) 88-71 in Tokyo. JX-Eneos S. players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). International forward Yuki Miyazawa (182-93, college: Queens, NY) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four JX-Eneos S. players scored in double figures. JX-Eneos S.'s coach Kiyomi Sato allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International guard Nanoko Motohashi (164-93) replied with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Mitsuhashi Arisawa (181-95) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Haneda Vickies. JX-Eneos S. (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Haneda Vickies at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with Aishin AW and Hitachi Cougars. JX-Eneos S. will play against Toyota B SR (#6) in Aichi in the next round where they are favorite. Haneda Vickies will play at home against the league's second-placed Mitsubishi K. and hope to get back on the winning track.
