Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Katy Wroclawskie (5-4) smashed at home 11th ranked Zielona Gora 2 (1-7) 83-58 on Sunday. Katy Wroclawskie dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Zielona Gora 2's 22 and made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Zielona Gora 2 37-26 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swingman Slawomir Dzwilewski (193-84) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Michal Lipinski (185-86) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Katy Wroclawskie players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Adam Bednarczyk (188-98) with 11 points and 4 assists and point guard Kacper Traczyk (186-98) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Katy Wroclawskie maintains seventh place in Group D with 5-4 record. Zielona Gora 2 lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Katy Wroclawskie will have a break next round. Zielona Gora 2 will play at home against Sudety (#5) and hope to win that game.
