Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked JyWe (0-5) was outscored by fourth ranked MuKi (6-2) in Helsinki 100-53 on Sunday. The game without a history. MuKi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 26 JyWe turnovers. MuKi looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by JyWe's players. Point guard Joonas Timonen (189-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Robin Avist (191-0) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four MuKi players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Sami Salmenkivi (193-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and guard Karo Puittinen (195-99) added 15 points in the effort for JyWe. MuKi moved-up to third place in Division. Loser JyWe still closes the standings with five games lost. MuKi will face HyPo (#6) in Hyvinkaa in the next round. JyWe will play at home against the league's second-placed Tapiolan Honka (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
