There was an upset when higher ranked Baltur Cento (4-4) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked UCC Piacenza (3-5) 79-66 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and the former international guard Matteo Formenti (194-82) who added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four UCC Piacenza players scored in double figures. American swingman James White (201-82, college: Cincinnati) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Cuban guard Yankiel Moreno (189-90, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. UCC Piacenza moved-up to eleventh place in A2. Newly promoted Baltur Cento dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. UCC Piacenza will face Cagliari DA (#16) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
