Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Eurobasket RO (4-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked Bergamo Bsk (6-2) 75-69 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bergamo Bsk outrebounded Eurobasket RO 34-23 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American Terrence Roderick (196-88, college: UAB) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Nick Zeisloft (193-92, college: Indiana) responded with 21 points and swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bergamo Bsk moved-up to second place in A2. Loser Eurobasket RO dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Bergamo Bsk will face Pall. Trapani (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Eurobasket RO will play against Eurotrend BI and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
