Very important is a home loss of third ranked Vanoli Cremona (5-2) against ninth ranked Openjobmetis VA (4-3) on Sunday night. Host Vanoli Cremona was edged by Openjobmetis VA in a tough game in Cremona 79-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vanoli Cremona. Openjobmetis VA dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Vanoli Cremona's 20. American players dominated the game. Openjobmetis VA moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Virtus Bologna. Vanoli Cremona at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Happy Casa BR and Sidigas AV. Openjobmetis VA will play against higher ranked Happy Casa BR (#4) in Brindisi in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
