Regular Season Round 15: Fuerza Regia - Aaguacateros 88-76

There was a change at the LNBP leadership position after last games. Round 15 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Aaguacateros (10-4). They were defeated by second ranked Fuerza Regia (9-5) 88-76 on Tuesday night. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Fuerza Regia outrebounded Aaguacateros 44-23 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) helped adding 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Eduardo Gonzalez (-89) scored 8 points and 10 assists. Fuerza Regia maintains second place with 9-5 record having just three points less than leader Capitanes. Aaguacateros at the other side still keep top position with four games lost. They share it with Capitanes. They were replaced at the leadership position by Capitanes. Aaguacateros will play next round against strong Lenadores trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Fuerza Regia will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Angeles in Puebla.
