The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Stelmet Enea BC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Stelmet Enea BC defeated 15th ranked Trefl in Zielona Gora 93-75. Stelmet Enea BC forced 20 Trefl turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Gabe DeVoe (190-95, college: Clemson) who scored 24 points. Croatian center Darko Planinic (211-90, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Stelmet Enea BC players scored in double figures. Stelmet Enea BC's coach Igor Jovovic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian power forward Milan Milovanovic (205-91, agency: 011 Sports) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Vernon Taylor (192-87, college: Troy) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Trefl lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with seven games lost. They share the position with AZS Koszalin. Trefl will play next round against GTK trying to get back on the winning streak. Stelmet Enea BC will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Twarde Pierniki in Torun.
