Regular Season Round 2: Fubon Braves - KKL 61-76

Quite upsetting was Fubon Braves' (#2) 15-point home defeat in a game versus KKL 76-61. KKL outrebounded Fubon Braves 45-33 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American swingman Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit Mercy) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import power forward Walter Sharpe (206-86, college: UAB) chipped in 7 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Four KKL players scored in double figures. Guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) produced 13 points and 5 assists and Jamaican-Canadian forward Shaquille Keith (196-93) added 8 points respectivelyfor KKL. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KKL will meet Pauian (#6) in the next round. Fubon Braves will play against Taiwan Beer and hope to secure a win.
