Regular Season Round 3: Rustavi - TSU-Hyundai 77-96

Very expected game in Rustavi where Energy Invest (0-3) was crushed by TSU-Hyundai (2-1) 96-77. The game was mostly controlled by TSU-Hyundai. Energy Invest was better in fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TSU-Hyundai dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 22. They outrebounded Energy Invest 53-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. TSU-Hyundai players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-98) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard James Milliken (191-93, college: Creighton) contributed with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four TSU-Hyundai players scored in double figures. TSU-Hyundai's coach Nikoloz Cherkezishvili allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Isaac Banks (201-94, college: E.Tenn.St.) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Levan Gogaladze (197-97) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for Energy Invest. TSU-Hyundai's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Cactus Tbilisi.
