Twelfth-ranked Sao Jose (2-6) was very close to win a game against first ranked Vivo/Franca (10-1) in Sao Paulo on Thursday. Vivo/Franca managed to secure only two-point victory 95-93. However their fans expected much easier game. Vivo/Franca made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Sao Jose helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Lucas Silva (209-95) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists.
