Regular Season Round 7: Chartres - Poitiers 94-91

A very interesting game took place in Chartres. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 14th ranked Poitiers (2-5) to thirteenth ranked C'Chartres (3-4) 94-91 on Friday evening. C'Chartres made 26-of-32 charity shots (81.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Poitiers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Inception Sports) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Ghanian Adamu Saaka (198-88, college: Furman) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Kevin Harley (196-94) produced 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and American-British guard Warren Niles (194-89, college: ORU, agency: Inception Sports) added 23 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. C'Chartres moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Poitiers at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. C'Chartres' next round opponent will be Quimper UJAP (#16) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Poitiers will play against Caen and hope to win that game.
