No shocking result in a game when first ranked Ryukyu GK (14-5) crushed on the road 6th ranked Yokohama BC (4-15) 89-53 on Friday. Ryukyu GK shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for international guard Narito Namizato (172-89) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 6 assists. American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. American forward Javon McCrea (201-92, college: Buffalo) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Ryo Tawatari (180-93, college: Dominican, CA) added 8 points in the effort for Yokohama BC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ryukyu GK have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-5 record. Loser Yokohama BC dropped to the fifth place with 15 games lost. Ryukyu GK will have a break next round. Yokohama BC will play again at home against the league's leader Ryukyu GK (#1) and hope to win that game.
