Very important is a loss of Fubon Braves (2-2) against Bank of Taiwan (1-2) on Friday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Bank of Taiwan in a tough game 89-94. American center Greg Smith (208-91, college: Fresno St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Bahrain swingman Rashad Woods (197-86, college: Kent St., agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Jamaican-Canadian forward Shaquille Keith (196-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international swingman Wen-Cheng Tsai (190-85) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Bank of Taiwan's next round opponent will be Dacin Tigers (#7) in Taipei. Fubon Braves will play against Taiwan Beer and hope to win that game.
