Very expected game when 18th ranked Paris (1-6) lost at home to eleventh ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (3-4) 86-80 on Friday. Quite impressive performance for Spanish forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (199-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Spanish guard Javier Forcada (193-88) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Dustin Sleva (203-95, college: Shippensburg, agency: Inception Sports) answered with 20 points and the other American import guard Nick Kellogg (190-91, college: Ohio) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Paris. Five Gries/Oberhoffen and four Paris players scored in double figures. Paris' coach Jean-Christophe Prat rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gries/Oberhoffen moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Paris at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Gries/Oberhoffen will face higher ranked ALM Evreux (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Paris will play against SPO Rouen (#8) and hope to win that game.
