Regular Season Round 10: Zubry - Siarka 95-69

Everything went according to plan in Bialystok where top-ranked Zubry (10-0) outleveled 12th ranked Siarka (3-7) 95-69 on Saturday. Zubry forced 22 Siarka turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Adrian Warszawski (201-96) fired 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Maciej Parszewski (195-94) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Zubry players scored in double figures. Artur Mikolajko (197-79) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Zubry have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 10-0 record. Siarka lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with seven games lost. Zubry will face Start Lublin II (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siarka will play against Rosa II Radom and hope to win that game.
