American guard Tanaya Atkinson (183-96, college: Temple) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. British guard Chantel Charles (178-94, college: Maine) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Adelantados players scored in double figures. American center Erika Livermore (185-93, college: Fair Dickinson) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import guard Sierra Moore (180-94, college: Penn St.) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Alcobendas. Adelantados moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Leganes and Almeria. Loser Alcobendas dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Adelantados will face Genero (#12) in Las Palmas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alcobendas will play on the road against Leganes (#3) and hope to win that game.
