It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Barca CBS. They outrebounded Barca CBS 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Aros Patatas brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-96, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Marta Canella (178-95) who added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Naturalized American guard Sheila Dixon (176-91, college: Brown) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Beatrice Carta (170-92, college: Washington, agency: Two Points) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aros Patatas moved-up to sixth place in Group A. Barca CBS at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with GDKO Bizkaia. Aros Patatas will play against Segle XXI (#11) in Barcelona in the next round where they are favorite. Barca CBS will play on the road against Cortegada (#10) in Vilagarcia Arousa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
