The most exciting game of round 8 in the Extraliga took place in Kosice. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-ranked Young Angels (6-2) to third ranked Piestanske C. Newly promoted Young Angels keep the second place with two games lost. Piestanske C. is looking forward to face BAM Poprad (#6) on the road in the next round. Young Angels will play against UKF Nitra (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
