Regular Season Round 11: STK Czarni - Pruszkow 80-60

Everything could happen in Slupsk at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked STK Czarni and 11th ranked Pruszkow had identical 4-6 record. This time STK Czarni used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Pruszkow 80-60 on Saturday night. STK Czarni had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Center Damian Cechniak (208-93) helped adding 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four STK Czarni players scored in double figures. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Michal Kierlewicz (194-97) scored 14 points. Pruszkow's coach Andrzej Kierlewicz tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. STK Czarni (5-6) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Polfarmex Kutno and AZS AGH KR. Loser Pruszkow dropped to the twelfth position with seven games lost. STK Czarni will face league's second-placed Slask in Wroclaw in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pruszkow will play at home against Enea Astoria (#5) and hope to win that game.
