Regular Season Round 18: Gunma - Tokyo Z 88-75

The game between Top Four teams took place in Gunma. Third ranked host Gunma (11-8) defeated one of their biggest challengers Tokyo Z (8-11) 88-75. Gunma looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Tokyo Z's players. The best for the losing side was American center Nigel Spikes (208-89, college: Marshall) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks and his fellow American import center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gunma have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 11-8 record having just two points less than leader Shinshu BW which they share with defeated Tokyo Z. Tokyo Z lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the third place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
