Regular Season Round 10: Bergen - Sandvika 56-69

There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Bergen (3-5) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Sandvika (3-6) 69-56. The game was mostly controlled by Sandvika. Bergen was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for forward Maria Myklebust (183-3) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Severine Uggen (183-99) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kristin Hannestad (175-97) replied with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sofie Paulsen (175-0) added 12 points in the effort for Bergen. Four Bergen players scored in double figures. Sandvika moved-up to sixth place. Bergen at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Sandvika will play against Hoybraten (#7) in Oslo in the next round. Bergen will play at home against the league's leader Ullern and hopes to get back on the winning track.
