Regular Season Round 10: Menorca - Villarrobledo 80-62

There was a change at the LEB Silver leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Villarrobledo (7-3). They were defeated by eighth ranked Menorca (4-6) 80-62 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Menorca. Villarrobledo managed to win second period 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American forward Fitzgerald White (201-91, college: Union, KY) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Adrian Mendez (195-93) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Menorca players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Jalen Nesbitt (198-93, college: N.Florida) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Arturo Fernandez (182-90) scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Menorca maintains eighth position in Silver with 4-6 record. Villarrobledo at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the third place with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Aquimisa LZ who have the same record. Villarrobledo will play next round against Albacete trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Menorca will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Vic on the road.
