Regular Season Round 12: Feurs EF - Kaysersberg 85-79

Very predictable result when eighth ranked Feurs EF (6-6) won against at home 13th ranked Kaysersberg (2-10) 85-79 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Feurs EF dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kaysersberg's 30. Feurs EF forced 21 Kaysersberg turnovers and outrebounded them 39-23 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for Senegalese power forward Madiop Ndiaye (208-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Bastien Albert (200-94) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Canadian-British forward Jermel Kennedy (201-89, college: Lander) replied with 15 points and 4 assists and Senegalese forward Elson Mendy (200-85) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kaysersberg. Four Kaysersberg players scored in double figures. Feurs EF moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Besancon and Boulogne. Kaysersberg lost third consecutive game. Kaysersberg at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Feurs EF will face higher ranked Saint Vallier (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kaysersberg will play against Charleville-Mezieres (#10) and hope to win that game.
