Very important is a road loss of third ranked Groningen (13-3) against fourth ranked Den Bosch (10-5) on Saturday night. Visiting Groningen was defeated by Den Bosch in a tough game in Den Bosch 65-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Groningen. Den Bosch made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. International point guard Maarten Bouwknecht (185-94) notched 22 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and American forward Payton Henson (203-94, college: Vermont) supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds.
