There was no surprise in Santiago de Camp. where 12th ranked Rosalia (1-6) was defeated by third ranked Innova Chef (6-1) 74-64 on Saturday. Innova Chef dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Rosalia's 34. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Innova Chef made 8 blocks. American swingman Vincent Dillard (196-92, college: Charleston) scored 29 points to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian-American guard Rob Ukawuba (191-94, college: NJIT) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side swingman Nilo Barreiro (192-95) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Pablo Posse (202-89) scored 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists.
