Regular Season Round 8: Miasto Szkla - Spojnia 93-76

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Krosno where fourteenth ranked Miasto Szkla (2-6) defeated 13th ranked Spojnia Stargard (2-6) 93-76 on Saturday. Miasto Szkla shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) produced 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) added 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Miasto Szkla moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Spojnia and Rosa. Spojnia Stargard lost third consecutive game. Miasto Szkla will face higher ranked Anwil (#6) in Wloclawek in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
