Regular Season Round 9: Roma Luiss - Salerno 78-69

There was a change at the Serie B leadership position after last games. Round 9 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Salerno (7-2). They were defeated by sixth ranked Roma Luiss (7-2) 78-69 on Saturday night. Power forward Francesco Infante (202-92) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and swingman Antongiulio Bonaccorso (197-97) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Roma Luiss' coach Andrea Paccarie used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Gianmarco Leggio (202-94) with 25 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Manuel Diomede (189-90, agency: Two Points) scored 14 points. Roma Luiss moved-up to third place in B. Salerno will play next round against Valmontone trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Roma Luiss will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Palermo GB on the road.
