Regular Season Round 8: Rudes - Universitas 75-63

Bottom-ranked Bulldogs managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they won against tenth-ranked Universitas in Zagreb 75-63. Bulldogs dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Universitas' 14. They outrebounded Universitas 42-27 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Roko Prkacin (207-2) who added 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Bulldogs players scored in double figures. Bulldogs' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Bruno Rebic (186-99) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Ivan Perasovic (197-2) scored 12 points. Bulldogs (2-6) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Kastela and Universitas. Universitas lost third consecutive game. Bulldogs will meet Kastela (#10) in the next round. Universitas will play against Zaprude and hope to secure a win.
