Regular Season Round 12: Souffel - Aubenas 77-57

NM1 top team - Souffelweyersheim (12-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Aubenas (4-8) 77-57. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aubenas. It was a good game for the former international point guard Aldo Curti (180-87) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Antony Labanca (192-94) contributed with 20 points for the winners. American forward Gregg Thondique (201-87, college: Virginia Union, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and forward Oumarou Baradji (202-89) added 10 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Aubenas. Aubenas' coach Marc Namura rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Souffelweyersheim have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 12-0 record. Loser Aubenas dropped to the eleventh place with eight games lost. Souffelweyersheim will face Recy Saint-Martin (#13) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Aubenas will play against Orchesien BC in Orchies and hope to win that game.
