Regular Season Round 12: Inter Bratislava - Lucenec 92-50

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Lucenec (1-10) 92-50. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lucenec's 30. Inter Bratislava forced 21 Lucenec turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Lucenec's players. Inter Bratislava brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Worth to mention a quality performance of Montenegrin point guard Goran Bulatovic (186-88) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St.) who added 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oliver Vidin felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Ethan Jacobs (211-90, college: Colgate) with 17 points and swingman Johnny Griffin (196-95, college: Loyola, LA) scored 7 points and 12 rebounds. Inter Bratislava have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Lucenec lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Rieker KN (#6) in Komarno in the next round where they are favorite. Lucenec will play at home against Prievidza to get more than just one victory in their record.
