B League D3 top team - Koshigaya A. (14-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Tokyo Big Blue (0-3) 96-75. Koshigaya A. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Big Blue's 36 and made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Tokyo Big Blue 42-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. American Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) notched 22 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) to lead the effort and the other American import Luke Evans (203-91, college: Cal.Baptist) supported him with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by forward Bryan Simpson (197-84) did not help to save the game for Tokyo Big Blue. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Four Koshigaya A. and five Tokyo Big Blue players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Koshigaya A. have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-1 record. Tokyo Big Blue at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Koshigaya A.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tokyo Tokyo Big Blue.
