The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Zagreb: ZKK Medvescak (#2) and Zagreb (#6). ZKK Medvescak (6-1) crushed visiting Zagreb (4-3) by 35 points 75-40. The game without a history. ZKK Medvescak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Zagreb to just 7 points in fourth quarter. ZKK Medvescak held Zagreb to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.3 percent accuracy of the winners. ZKK Medvescak forced 27 Zagreb turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Zagreb's players. Anja Majstorovic (184-94) fired 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Matea Tadic (167-99) chipped in 13 points, 7 assists and 6 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ZKK Medvescak have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader Split, which they share with Zadar. Newly promoted Zagreb keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Ragusa. ZKK Medvescak is looking forward to face Podravac (#9) in Virje in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zagreb will play at home against Brod na Savi and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
