Leader Sodertalje Kings delivered the twelfth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 7th ranked Wetterbygden (5-10) 79-73. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-15. But Wetterbygden won second period 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sodertalje Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Eric Garcia (183-94, college: Wofford) stepped up and scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and his fellow American import Auston Barnes (203-91, college: Bradley) chipped in 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side international center Carl Engstrom (216-91, college: Alabama) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American CJ Dunston (196-94, college: Lancaster Bible) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings (12-1) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place. Wetterbygden lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Sodertalje Kings will meet at home league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wetterbygden will play against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins (#2) and hope to secure a win.
